Summary

Co-Operative 3D Platformer 

​

Marcelo and Giovanni---an unlucky moth and a wide-eyed young spider with aspirations of becoming a web designer---are attatched by a web, trapped in the cluttered basement of an Italian-American family. They must use the spider silk that connects them and their own unique abilities to reach freedom.

Summary

A surreal 3D sandbox adventure game

Your TV remote is out of batteries. Wander around a bizarre town and get lost in a maze of side quests as you embark on a perilous journey to sit on the couch all day.

Created first person character, interact, and inventory systems.
Created dialogue and quest system designed for creating quests that could interact with other objects in Unity’s editor with no additional scripting required for each quest.
Created modular minigame system designed for creating interaction, tracking data, and performing logic in Unity’s editor with no additional scripting required.

Summary

Third-person action game. After development ended, I continued development individually and made significant improvements to bring the game to a higher level of polish.

 

A young person traveled to an isolated island for work, only to be imprisoned by their supposed employers and exploited for labor.

The player must fight their way past their violent captors and up to the lavish mansion high above the work camp to issue justice to those responsible.

Contributions

Designing enemy types and behaviors, as well as programming enemy behavior trees in Unreal 5. Additionally, modeled entire second level in Maya and added overall gameplay polish.

After the project ended, made substantial fixes to combat system. Added more feedback to actions and reactions. Improved thrown knives to interact with environment.
